You'll be happy to know that acupuncture needles are so thin, that people often report not feeling them go in at all. A dull ache around the insertion site, a slight tingling sensation, or a feeling of warmth are the most common descriptions of the sensations experienced by most acupuncture patients. These are all good signs that the body is responding to the treatment as it should.
